Our daily efforts have earned us certifications such as Travelife and Ecostars, as well as the verification of our carbon footprint in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018 by AENOR. Landmar Playa la Arena and Landmar Costa los Gigantes have been awarded the Travelife Gold Seal, one of the most important certifications for sustainable tourist accommodation, thanks to their commitment to sustainable tourism and their Corporate Social Responsibility proposals.

Travelife is an international certification that, through an external audit, assesses that the accommodation meets the highest standards of sustainability and social and cultural respect.

Leaders in tourism sustainability

Landmar Hotels' commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement in this area has been recognized in the 2023 edition with the "Award for the best sustainable practice in tourist accommodation", awarded by Turismo de Tenerife.

Thanks to the Clean Energies project: it is NOW, the hotel chain has demonstrated its commitment to the environment through initiatives such as the installation of photovoltaic panels in its two hotels, the use of salt chlorinators for the maintenance of its swimming pools, the implementation of desalination plants and the incorporation of technologies such as aerothermal energy.

This award recognizes the company's efforts not only in environmental sustainability, but also in the care of people and the community.

Committed to reducing Greenhouse Gases, we verify our carbon footprint in accordance with the ISO 14064-1:2018 Standard with the AENOR Certification Body.

DESALINATION PLANT

98% of the water we use comes from our desalination plants. We further this action by employing chlorine-free pool care, intead using salt chlorinators.
